OUTER SPACE MEN; DESTROY ALL PLANETS

Done for my show at SPACE 242 a number of years ago-- Colorforms great toy from the 60s THE OUTER SPACE MEN was the inspiration for this silk screen limited edition. The fine folks putting out the new version of the toys bought out the run and have asked for more characters-- unfortunately I just don't have the time, but another one will follow someday.

WoMag Cover; COLLEGES TAKE OVER WORCESTER

Still another cover from the great days of WoMag! I'm showing a few of these off since this is their 35th anniversary. Then editor Mike Warshaw and Art Director Christopher Moore wanted a vintage 50s horror poster type of cover-- reigned in a bit from the crazy drivers cover I'd done earlier. It was cool to see this posted up at Holy Cross all over the place when it came out (that's the Clark University and Holy Cross towers come to life).

Ah, the magic of the illustrated cover-- WoMag had their papers snatched up faster than normal with this cover on them.

NEW DRACULA Cover and PRINTING

Veronica took my DRACULA illo and reworked it-- adding in the Harker figure and the rest to create a truly amazing cover! So much so that I went in and revamped about 40% of the book with new pages-- now running over 60 pages. It's available NOW and if you've already bought the first draft get this one and I'll throw in some art for your trouble-- just email me at andy@hebsandfish.com

WoMag Cover; CRAZY DRIVERS

One of my favorite gigs from the Golden Age of WoMag-- editor Mike Warshaw called me and said he wanted a cover that was bat-shit crazy with tons of 'chicken fat' which is publishing slang for all the little background craziness in this type of work. I had a blast with it and it was even nominated at cover of the year for New England Newspaper Association.

Too bad WoMag has since changed hands and they don't see the value of paying for cover art.

DRACULA WALL SCENE

NEWLY created page for the DRACULA Tpb-- I felt this scene as I originally did it was very weak-- added about five pages to intensify the drama. This page takes place after Harker is disturbed and hears something outside his window--- looking out he discovers DRACULA climbing down the wall like a Lizard-- this is his reaction.

DRACULA is positioned as he is climbing down-- but with this page layout it also looks like he's reaching for the Harker figure at the bottom of the page.
