Mississippi BlOOes

I don't know why I have a fascination with blues and jazz musicians.  I like the music, Robert Johnson is a regular visitor to my studio, but for some reason I just love the movement and the feel of the period of the 30s and 40s jazz period.

Playing with airbrush, pastel and a bit of acrylic here.  This was a fairly big piece-- about 4' tall.
Colors are showing a bit less muted than in the original, but I actually think I like it better here.

DRACULA; CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT is a 400+ page graphic novel retelling the Bram Stoker Vampire classic, expanding on themes and scenes that Stoker only briefly mentioned and then a follow up to the story and the events that happened after the events in the original story.

Set in 1931, DRACULA's plan is far more sinister with the happenings in Europe with the aggression of Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Party.

DRACULA; CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT will run as a daily strip preview, and the book will be published as a multi part graphic novel beginning in the SPRING 2010-- available for sale right here.
